Train service was delayed Monday night in Richland Hills and Downtown Dallas.

TRE's Richland Hills station was closed while authorities investigated a suspicious package found at the station.

Service resumed at the Richland Hills station at about 6 p.m., DART said.

While service was delayed at the Richland Hills station, DART investigated an accident that involved a pedestrian and Blue Line train at Convention Center station in Downtown Dallas.

The person involved has been taken to Baylor University Medical Center for treatment, according to DART.

Authorities continue to investigate both situations.

This is a developing story. NBC 5 will provide more information as soon as it is available.
