The body of a swimmer has been recovered from Lake Lewisville, three days after he went missing while on an outing with a friend.

A game warden tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Texas Parks and Wildlife officials found 35-year-old Darrell Williams' body Saturday morning on the north shore of Lake Lewisville.

The Lewisville man was in a boat Wednesday with a friend when the two decided to go swimming.

A Lewisville fire department spokesman says Williams started having trouble while swimming and the other man lost sight of him.

Authorities began searching for him Wednesday evening.
