Suspicious Bag Delays Flights at Dallas Love Field

A suspicious bag discovered Sunday afternoon caused a small scare at Dallas Love Field Airport.

"The airport delayed all flights coming in and out of the airport," said Sr. Cpl. Gerardo Monreal, with the Dallas Police Department.

The bag was discovered just after 4 p.m. in the upper level of the baggage claim area.

Passengers were kept back from that area as a precaution, though the bag was determined later to be harmless.

Flights were up and running about an hour after the bag was discovered and removed.
