Cedar Hill police arrested Arlington officer Tibor Kovacs Thursday on a domestic violence charges including aggravated sexual assault and assault of a family member.

Arlington police said Kovacs has been on paid leave since Nov. 1 after allegations were brought forth that he had inappropriate contact with a woman while on duty.

The APD would not comment on Cedar Hill's investigation, nor would they comment further on their own investigation until the it is complete.

They did say however that if their investigation finds that Kovacs acted inappropriately, then the department would take appropriate administrative actions and, if warranted, pursue criminal charges.
