Suburban Houston Shooting Survivor Out of Hospital

The lone survivor of a suburban Houston shooting that left six other members of her family dead is out of the hospital.

In a statement, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital reported 15-year-old Cassidy Stay was discharged Friday "in good condition." The hospital says she's "expected to make a full recovery."

Ronald Lee Haskell is accused of killing Stay's parents, Stephen and Katie Stay, and her four siblings ranging in age from 4 to 14.

Authorities have said Haskell was searching for his ex-wife, Katie Stay's sister, when he came to the Stays' home in Spring on Wednesday. Investigators say Cassidy Stay suffered a skull fracture from a bullet graze but survived by playing dead to call 911 and warn police that Haskell planned to shoot other relatives.
