    A student was stabbed outside the Barbara M. Manns Education Center Friday in Dallas Independent School District.

    Police are investigating a stabbing at a Dallas ISD school.

    Officers said a student was stabbed around noon on Friday at Barbara M. Manns Education Center in the 3300 block of South Beckley Avenue, which is a school for eighth graders.

    Officials told NBC DFW the student's injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening, but the victim was transported to the hospital to be treated.

    One student has been arrested in connection to the stabbing.

    Friday was the last day of school for DISD students.
