Storms are flooding streets and causing power outages Tuesday evening across Collin County.
In McKinney, the weather is even canceling classes.
There's no school Wednesday at Vega Elementary School after a transformer blew and knocked out the power.
According to a post made on the school's Facebook page, the transformer will need extensive repairs. "Due to the uncertainty over the restoration of power tomorrow [Wednesday], school has been cancelled..." the post stated.
Tuesday night, Oncor was reporting more than 800 customers affected by the outages.
Crews were seen working well into the evening to repair power lines. It was unknown how long repairs would take.
In Carrollton, hours of rain left the intersection of Walnut Street and Rosemont Avenue covered in about six inches of water.

It didn't stop a DART bus driver from trying to pass through it.
NBC 5 cameras were rolling as the driver ran over an orange cone blocking the street.
He stopped short of the intersection and was confronted by a police officer. The driver then made a sharp right turn to avoid the deep intersection.
In the process, the bus ran right over a stop sign as it traveled toward drier ground. DART said it would discuss "safety issues" with the bus driver.
Several cars parked on the curb were left stranded.
So was homeowner Ruben Rodreguez who lives at the flooded intersection.
He stood on his porch as his entire home became surrounded by water. He said it isn't the first time it has happened.
"I'm scared for my family. I don't know if the water's going to come up high into my house, so it's a really bad experience," Rodreguez said.
