Storms Cause Travel Trouble for Passengers at D/FW, Love Field

Travelers at the two airports in Dallas had a late night after storms caused delays well into the night.

People reported being delayed in either the terminal or on the tarmac once they landed in Dallas.

NBC 5's Brian Curtis posted photos after his flight landed Friday. He said passengers on his flight were stuck on the plane for almost two hours after they landed at Dallas Love Field.

Several others reached out on social media complaining about the delays. One person reported the plane they were on overnight had no air conditioning during the wait.

Love Field and DFW Airport both had ground stops in palce during the storms Friday due to the downpours, however they have not said what caused the long waits on the tarmac.

Early Saturday morning, more than thirty flights were delayed between the two airports.
