Stonebriar Centre in Frisco was evacuated early Thursday morning due to a gas leak.

The Frisco Fire Department was called out to investigate the leak near the ice rink.  Officials said ammonia was leaking from a refrigeration unit that keeps the ice on the rink cold.

The leak was fixed and the mall was to reopen at 10 a.m.

The evacuation lasted just more than three hours.

No injuries were reported in connection with the leak.
