Stewart Finds His Way Back to Victory Lane

It took three years, but Tony Stewart finally found himself back in victory lane after taking the checkered flag at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.

Stewart got the win by holding off Denny Hamlin on the last lap. The victory snapped an 84-race winless streak. It's the 49th victory for Stewart who won his last race in June of 2013.

Despite missing eight races to start the season, the 45-year old increased his chances of making the 2016 "Chase for the Sprint Cup" with Sunday's win.
