Officials in DeWitt County have discontinued a state-wide Amber Alert for an abducted 13-year-old girl, the Texas Department of Public Safety said Phoebe Nichole Hughes was found safe.
Officials did not reveal any circumstances surrounding her disappearance, but at the time of the Amber Alert they said they believed she was in immediate danger.
At the time of the Amber Alert, police were also looking for 34-year-old Eric Castillo, whose last known location was Cuero. Cuero is located northwest of Victoria, between San Antonio and Houston.
The canceled Amber Alert notification contains no information about Castillo.
