One of the Texas Department of Public Safety's 10 most wanted fugitives has been captured working at an auto dealership in Hurst.
Attorney General Greg Abbott on Monday announced the arrest of 47-year-old Michael Brian McCollum, who was considered armed and dangerous.
McCollum, identified as a gang member, was arrested for violating parole. He also was wanted in Dallas County for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The AG's office says McCollum, who had been sought since 2007, was arrested Friday. DPS says McCollum was arrested several times since the 1980s for assault, aggravated assault, burglary, fraud, possession of a controlled substance, plus DWI.
