A South Texas construction worker has died after a pipe fell on him at a job site.
The Karnes County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday identified the victim as 25-year-old James Dean "Jimmy" Burnett of Goliad.
The San Antonio Express-News reports the accident happened Monday at a BHP Billiton Petroleum construction site. Investigators say Burnett was dead at the scene.
BHP Petroleum says the victim worked for Victoria-based oilfield services company Jet Maintenance Inc.
