A South Texas couple has been sentenced to federal prison for sexually exploiting a relative.
Prosecutors said the 28-year-old Zapata woman and her 30-year-old husband from Corpus Christi were arrested in 2013 after the woman admitted the crime to authorities during a marital dispute. She tells authorities she had sex with a young male relative while her husband recorded it.
Authorities found seven videos of child pornography on the husband's electronic devices.
The woman was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison and her estranged husband to 27 years. They were also ordered to serve 20 years of supervised release and register as sex offenders.
The Associated Press is not naming the pair to protect the identity of the victim.
