Investigators say a 15-year-old San Antonio-area boy has been charged in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old male during a disturbance.

New Braunfels police on Monday announced a juvenile from Marion has been arrested on a murder charge in the weekend death of Conrad Kuntz of New Braunfels.

Officers on Saturday night responded to reports of shots fired and a disturbance in a neighborhood. Police found Kuntz wounded. Emergency medical personnel were unable to save him.

Police on Sunday arrested the 15-year-old suspect, who remains in juvenile custody.

New Braunfels police didn't immediately release a possible motive for the shooting or further details on the investigation. No information was immediately released on an attorney for the juvenile suspect.
