The plane landed safely at Arlington Municipal Airport just before 5:30 p.m.

The pilot told crews in a control tower that the plane lost an alternator.

Arlington police said there is limited access in and out of the airport at this time due to the incident.

The plane has been placed in a hangar at the airport.
