Small Plane Crash Lands Atop Houston Warehouse

Authorities say a single-engine plane crashed on the top of a Houston warehouse, leaving the pilot injured.

A Houston Fire Department statement says air traffic controllers reported a small plane went off radar about 4 miles north of Hobby Airport late Sunday.

The wreckage of the Cessna 172 was found atop the warehouse with help from emergency beacons.

Authorities say the pilot was taken to a Houston hospital. His name and condition weren't immediately released.

Federal investigators will work to determine what caused the crash.
