Sleeping Man Injured in Drive-By Shooting: Fort Worth Police

A sleeping man was shot in an apparent drive-by shooting in Fort Worth early Monday morning, according to police. [[361767391,C]]

The shooting was reported at about 3:30 a.m. at a home in the 1900 block of Avenue E, southeast of downtown.

Police said the 20-year-old victim was asleep on a couch in the house when at least three bullets hit the front of the home, according to police.

The bullet hit the man on the couch, but it did not penetrate his skin, police told NBCDFW. He was transported to a hospital as a precaution.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been named in connection with the shooting.
