Sketch of Attacker Released in Johnson Co. Sexual Assaults

Victims assaulted near Burleson

Sheriff's deputies have released a sketch of a man who sexually assaulted two women near Burleson.

A woman in her front yard and a female jogger were attacked just east of Burleson around country roads 604 and 605.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office said the victims gave similar descriptions of the attacker.

Deputies say the attacker is about 6 feet tall. He wore a red ball cap with sunglasses and a plaid shirt and carried a knife or sharp instrument.

Investigators said he attacked the jogger on the afternoon of July 8 and dragged her into some nearby bushes. On Sept. 27, a woman was attacked in her front yard at about 11:30 p.m.

Neither victim saw or heard the attacker's car.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
