Skeletal Remains Found at Cleared Fort Worth Homeless Camp

Authorities in Fort Worth have found skeletal remains behind an abandoned elementary school after evicting more than 80 people using the area as a homeless camp.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that city workers were cleaning up a wooded area where the homeless people had been living without permission when they found "full skeletal remains."

A police spokeswoman says the local medical examiner will be responsible for finding out how and when the death occurred.

Police on Saturday used heavy equipment to clear the camp southeast of downtown.
