Dallas SWAT Situation on MLK Boulevard Over

A standoff between a man and Dallas SWAT has come to an end in Dallas, police say.[[440778633,C]]

Officers responded to a shooting call at about 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., near Atlanta Street.

When they arrived at the home, they found a man suffering from a non-threatening gunshot wound. Two other people were apprehended at the scene. It is unclear who shot the victim.

Officers were told by witnesses that another man had barricaded himself inside the residence.

SWAT arrived and determined no one else was inside.

During the investigation, more than 30 DPD patrol cars surrounded the area.

MLK Blvd. from South Malcolm X Blvd. to Latimer Street was closed closed during the incident, but has since reopened.

Officers have not released further details.
