All but one of the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 in Parker County will be closed for several hours Thursday following a crash involving an 18-wheeler.

At about 2:45 a.m., an 18-wheeler overturned on westbound I-20 at Gilbert Pit Road in the western part of Parker County, spilling a load of wood chips, according to the Mineral Wells Department of Public Safety.

The driver of the 18-wheeler suffered minor injuries.

One lane on westbound I-20 opened at about 8 a.m. The remaining lanes are expected to remain closed until further notice, though traffic is reported to be moving smoothly in the area.

As of noon, crews are still working to clear the scene.
