The body of a missing 5-year-old girl has been found in the water near the boardwalk in Kemah.
Kemah police say searchers on Thursday morning located the body of Fiona "Kitty" Carroll near a dock.
The girl was last seen late Wednesday afternoon playing on the marina dock as her father did maintenance on his nearby boat.
Police did not immediately provide a suspected cause of death. Further details weren't immediately released.
Kemah is 25 miles southeast of Houston.
