Search Intensifies For Christina Morris

Nov. 30 marked three months since a Fort Worth woman vanished from a shopping center in Plano and the search for her will intensify this week when a team from Houston brings cadaver dogs to North Texas.

“I can’t believe we are at this point,” said Anna Morris, stepmother of missing Christina Morris. “I really believed she would be home for the holidays.”

For three months Christina Morris has been nowhere to be found. Her family's pain grows stronger and stronger.

“We're supposed to protect her,” said Anna Morris. “We're supposed to stand in front of her and anything that's going to harm her. And we can’t find her.”

Morris disappeared from the Shops at Legacy in Plano Aug. 30. Surveillance video from the shopping center are the last images of Morris alive. Morris’ family hired a private investigator, but — just like police — Paula Boudreaux is having difficulty finding evidence.

“It is very frustrating, because you have people with information who don't want to talk,” said Boudreaux. “Everybody is afraid.”

Investigators searched for Morris in rough terrain and now in ponds and lakes near where she was last seen. Until she's found, turmoil lives inside her stepmother.

"If we find her and can make her well, that turmoil will go away immediately,” said Anna Morris. “If that's not what happens, I don't know that we'll have peace."

Police have not made any arrests and have no suspects in connection to Morris’ disappearance. They also don't have any physically evidence that proves a crime was committed.
