School Bus Cameras Pointed Out, Not In

Vote on cameras could come in May

If you have a habit of passing school buses when you shouldn't, you may soon be spotted by an on-board camera and face a hefty fine.

Officials in Dallas will be briefed Monday on a plan to install video cameras on Dallas County school buses.

The cameras would catch drivers who go around buses when they're stopped.

Drivers caught by the cameras would face a $300 fine.

Officials could vote on the plan in May.
