Officials say a fire at a compost facility in South Texas could burn for several days.
No injuries have been reported in the blaze that broke out Monday night in a rural area on the east side of San Antonio.
Fire department Chief Charles Hood says the original call was about a grass fire. Wooden pallets later went up in flames as the fire grew.
Authorities say no structures or homes are threatened by the fire at New Earth Soils & Compost.
A message left with the company was not immediately returned Tuesday.
