Residents in an Arlington neighborhood returned to their homes Tuesday after a standoff involving the SWAT team ended after nearly six hours.[[330006641,C]]
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance at about 12:45 p.m. at a home on the 4100 block of Crestover Court. A female at the residence told police a man at the home had a gun and threatened her.
She managed to escape, but told officers she believed the man was still inside by himself.
The SWAT team arrived and, after a standoff of nearly six hours, entered the home. Once inside, SWAT officers confirmed the man was not inside the residence.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for the man for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. So far, the man has not been located.
