Robbery Ends in Police Pursuit, Shots Fired

A man charged with Aggravated Robbery took police on a chase before being taken into custody

A man charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery is in police custody after sending Dallas police on a pursuit as they arrived at the scene of the crime.

The suspect, 37-year-old Corlin Donaldson, fired two shots into the vehicles of two victims he was robbing Saturday at 11:30 p.m. near the 7100 block of Inwood Road, police said.

Police said Donaldson fled from the scene once North Division patrol officers arrived, and after the pursuit, he was taken into custody where police learned the shots were fired at two victims.

Police said that there weren’t injuries to any citizens, officers, or Donaldson.

At the moment, detectives are determining if Donaldson could possibly be responsible for many other robberies that have taken place in the past few days.
