Starting Monday, July 25, The Texas Department of Transportation will continue road surface maintenance work on Interstate 35 northbound lanes between Farm-to-Market Road 407 to just north of the Lewisville Lake Bridge.
The rest of the week crews will be working on Southbound I-35E between FM 407 and President George Bush Turnpike between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
TxDot will keep at least one lane open to through traffic as crews work to replace the asphalt on the road.
Road maintenance will continue as weather permits over the next few months in sections beginning on the southbound lanes of I-35E and then moving to the northbound lanes of I-35E.
Message boards are updated with the information and placed to notify area motorists.
