Carrying signs, American Flags and surrounded by police, protestors lined a street in Richardson to protest Sharia Law.
The demonstration, across the street from the Islamic Association of North Texas in Richardson, is part of a nationwide group of protests.
Most of the protests are being led by ACT for America, which the Southern Poverty Law Center designates as an Anti-Muslim hate group.
Richardson police were present at the demonstration to make sure there were no conflicts.
People against the ACT group were on the other side of the street opposing the message of the group.
