A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an indictment or arrest in the slaying of a Central Texas college student.
Brenham Washington County Crime Stoppers on Tuesday announced the reward for tips over the fatal shooting of Trey Alan Kurtz of Houston.
The body of the 20-year-old Blinn College freshman was discovered Oct. 30 on a street in Brenham, about 70 miles northwest of Houston.
The Crime Stoppers announcement says Kurtz apparently was shot while walking to or from campus.
