Rangers Sell 100,000+ Tickets On Day One

Good seats remain for home games during 2012 schedule.



    Red Fever has not broken in North Texas.

    The Texas Rangers said it sold more than 100,000 tickets for the 2012 Schedule on Saturday.  Dozens waited for hours outside of the Ballpark in Arlington to buy tickets.

    A 4:00 p.m. team statement said less than 100 tickets remain for the season opener on April 6. The Rangers will play the Chicago White Sox in Arlington.  The team said good seats remain for all other home games on the 2012 schedule.

    The Rangers open Cactus League play on Sunday, March 4.  The team won back-to-back American League Pennants.
