Psycho Shanon Has Big Thank You for Fans

"Kidd Kraddick in the Morning" producer home after surgery

Radio personality "Psycho" Shanon Murphy is home after doctors removed a brain tumor last week.

"How many times and how many ways can you say you are grateful for having the support of so many people?" she said.

The "Kidd Kraddick in the Morning" producer is home after doctors removed a brain tumor one week ago in a surgery that lasted more than four hours. The tumor was discovered after she went to a doctor for headaches and some numbness.

Murphy has a large scar and a few more weeks of recovery ahead, but the children about to leave on the annual Kidd's Kids trip to Florida are at the top of her mind.

"I was lucky to go 32 years before having to deal with any of this," she said. "We have 50 kids between the ages of 5 and 12 are going through a heck of a lot more than I ever will."

She said she is hoping to be well enough to see them all off on Thursday and be back on the air soon.

"I am ready to get back into my routine and get back with my family, my extended family and move on," she said.
