Utility crews have restored power to thousands of customers in The Colony after an equipment failure caused an outage Friday.
Power was knocked out to fewer than 2,000 customers Friday morning due a feeder failure, Oncor reports.
Oncor's website initially reported the outage affected more than 10,000 customers, but Oncor reports that number is incorrect.
Oncor said shortly before 4 p.m. that service has been restored.
