Police: Texas Man Arrested after 7-Hour Standoff

A Texas Panhandle man wanted in a gun theft case faces additional charges after a seven-hour standoff with police.

Borger police said the 22-year-old suspect barricaded himself inside his home after authorities tried to serve a warrant for felony probation violation. They said the man was arrested hours later after officers entered the home. They used flash-bang grenades and gas to flush him out but they didn't work.

No injuries were reported.

Police said that they recovered stolen guns from the home and additional charges will be filed.

The man was booked into the Hutchinson County Jail for the warrant.
