A standoff between Dalllas police and a man in an SUV on Martin Luther King Boulevard has ended.
The man exited the SUV and slowly walked towards officers with his hands in the air.
Officers handcuffed the man and took him into custody.
There was a dog in the SUV, as well. Officers now have the animal.
The reason for the standoff is unclear at this time.
Officers shut down MLK Boulevard, between Holmes Street and Colonial Avenue in Dallas during the incident.
