Police Searching for Dallas Bank Robbers

The FBI and Dallas police are searching for three people after a bank robbery in Dallas Friday morning.

Following the reported armed robbery of a Citibank location at 3550 Forest Lane, Dallas police said they were searching for four men. The FBI said Friday afternoon they are looking for three people.

According to police, the suspects involved in the bank robbery were driving a truck stolen from Fleetwash -- a mobile car-washing business. The company confirmed that truck was stolen about a week previous to Friday's robbery.

That truck was found by police in the area near where police detained one person in the parking lot of a KFC restaurant. That incident was caught on tape by Chopper 5, but police now say the man is not  suspect, he has been released and cleared in the case.

One witness, a security guard across the street from The Burgundy Apartments where the car wash truck was abandoned saw at least one of the possible robbers pull up in the car wash truck and get into a Chevrolet Tahoe and take off.

"I just saw a white pickup truck pull up in the apartment complex, kind of thought that they were home for lunch, saw him walking over to another vehicle and as I saw the other vehicle pulling out, squealing its tires I thought 'okay, something's not right,'" said security guard Stan Crawford.

The robbery prompted a lockdown of T.C. Marsh Middle School, but that has since been lifted.
