Dallas police are searching for three men involved in an armed home invasion and robbery early Wednesday morning.

Officers say a gunman shot one resident inside of an apartment at Winding Way Apartments on Emily Road around just after 1 a.m.

Paramedics rushed the wounded man to Parkland Memorial Hospital in serious condition. His roommate said he is expected to recover. No one else in the apartment when the gunman fired several shots. The roommate told NBC 5 that he did not recognize the armed home invaders.

The police report from the incident shows the robbers got away with two Xbox video game consoles, two cellphones and unknown amount of cash.

Police searched the area and detectives spent the morning interviewing witnesses but contrary to early reports from the scene, no arrrests have been made.
