Police Search For Shooting Suspect In Watauga

Police are looking for a man who shot another man in a small shopping center in Watauga.

Calls came into police Saturday shortly after 5 p.m. for a shooting in the 6100 block of Watauga Road in the Tarrant County community.

Watauga police Sgt. Jason Babcock said a man shot another man, then fled in a green car.  A detailed description of the gunman and vehicle have not been released. The motive behind the shooting is also not known.

The victim was transported by helicopter to a hospital. His name and condition have not been released.
