Dallas police hope a video will lead them to an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run on Northwest Highway on Monday afternoon.

Forty-one-year-old Roland Olvera was ejected from his motorcycle after he was hit by a 1999 red Ford F150 extended cab pickup. Police said the person driving the truck drove away instead of stopping and rendering aid.

Olvera was taken to Parkland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police released video on YouTube of the incident in the 5800 block of West Northwest Highway over the Dallas North Tollway in hopes of finding the driver of the truck.

Dallas police said the pickup has chrome wheels and a toolbox in the bed, Texas license plate 59CRH8 and damage to the right front area.

Anyone with information about the hit and run should contact the Vehicle Crimes Unit at 214-670-5818 or call 911.
