A Plano police officer is facing charges of possession of child pornography, police officials say.
Plano Police Department spokesman David Tilley said Collin County sheriffs arrested 55-year-old Richard S. Bradford Thursday.
Tilley said that Bradford is a patrol officer who has been with the department for nearly 15 years.
Authorities said Bradford was released on bond and was placed on administrative leave while Collin County and Plano authorities investigate.
