Police: Man Dies After Crashing Truck Into Home

Police said a man is dead after crashing his truck into a home in North Fort Worth early Friday morning.

The man was driving south on Deen Road at about 2 a.m. when police said he lost control of his Ford truck, hit a curb and rolled into the home in the 2300 block of Northeast 36th Street.

The driver died at the scene, police said.

The family of five who lives in the home told NBC 5 that they were all asleep when the truck crashed near their front bedroom. They said a similar incident happened to them six months ago.

Paramedics took the mother who lives in the house to a nearby hospital to check her for minor injuries, according to police.

Officials said they are still investigating the wreck.
