Police received multiple calls about a shooting in the 9300 block of Wade Boulevard at about 2:48 p.m. Saturday, Frisco Police Department spokesman Bradley J. Merritt said in a statement.

Officers arrived to find a man, later identified as 36-year-old Juan Rodriquez, shot in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead, Merritt said.

Just before Rodriquez died, police said he identified 33-year-old Tymothy Patrick Pfeiffer as a suspect in the shooting. Dallas Police Department SWAT team arrested Pfeiffer at about 8 a.m. Monday.

"It was truly a team effort by all involved that brought this case to a quick resolution," Frisco Police Chief John Bruce said.

Pfeiffer was transported to the Frisco Police Department where officials said they charged him with murder. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
