Police investigated a fatal shooting in northwest Dallas early Thursday morning.[[331198382,R]]
According to police, the shooting happened outside a home in the 1800 block of Chattanooga Place, one block away from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Officers found 24-year-old Andre Davis suffering from a gunshot wound. Davis was rushed to a hospital where he later died, police said.
The incident was considered by police to be an active investigation.
