Motorcyclist Killed After Falling 100 Feet
One person was killed just after 1pm Monday afternoon when he was thrown from his motorcycle in Dallas. Investigators tell us the victim and another biker were traveling at a high rate of speed along westbound 635 towards the northbound 75 ramp. According to investigators the driver of the first motorcycle made the turn but the second didn't. His motorcycle hit the guard rail causing the victim to fall 100 feet to the grassy area below. The victim's name has not been released.

Bait Truck Crashes into Arlington Home

Woman Shot in Robbery Attempt
A Fort Worth woman was shot in the arm early Monday morning after police said she startled a would-be-burglar. The Star-Telegram reports the shooting happened in the 3800 block of Dowdell Street. The robber was reportedly started when the victim opened the door as he was about to kick her door in.
