Estranged husband accused in shooting also charged with assaulting wife

Estranged Husband Accused of Killing Man, Assaulting Wife

Garland police said Mark Milligan is accused of fatally shooting a man and assaulting his estranged wife early Sunday morning. Police said Milligan's estranged wife told them he came to an apartment in the 4300 block of Point Boulevard and shot 36-year-old Jesus Dominguez when he opened the door. The woman told officers Milligan assaulted her before she was able to get away. Milligan left the area but was taken into custody by Denton County deputies in Aubrey at about 4 a.m. Milligan was transported to Garland and is charged with capital murder and aggravated assault. Bond has not been set.

Motorcyclist Killed in Grand Prairie Crash

Police said a 49-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he collided with a car Saturday evening. Investigators said Steven Washington, of Euless, collided with a vehicle that pulled in front of his motorcycle at the intersection of Robinson Road and Crossland Boulevard at about 5:30 p.m. Police said it appears that the driver, Chantha Soulachack, failed to yield a stop sign when entering the intersection to turn. Speed or alcohol were not factors in the crash. Washington died at the scene. Soulachack, 61; and his passenger, Khone Soulachack, 59; were taken to a Dallas hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Man Fires Gun to Break Up Fight at Church

Police said a 22-year-old man fired a gun inside a Richardson church to break up a fight. Richardson police spokesman Kevin Perlich said the groups began fighting and one man who had been at the church pulled out a gun and fired several times into the air. No one was injured. (Read more.)
