Police Blotter: Fort Worth Man Shot In Head

Here's a list of recent activities drawing the attention of North Texas Law Enforcement. List compiled on July, 27, 2011.

Man Shot In Head
Fort Worth police found a man in his pickup truck who was shot in the head Tuesday night. Paramedics transported him to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition. Police said the shooting is possibly gang-related. Police are talking to a couple of people who may be involved.

Man Killed in West Dallas
Keyveyion Dewayne Bowie of Dallas was found dead from a gunshot wound around 3 p.m. Tuesday inside a home in the 4100 block of Bernal Drive, near Westmoreland Road. The 24-year-old was slain in an apparent drug-related robbery in West Dallas. Homicide detectives are interviewing several witnesses. No arrests were reported Wednesday morning.

Plano Man Charged With Murder
A Plano man is charged with murder after he told Dallas police that he accidentally shot and killed a 45-year-old co-worker Tuesday at a Stemmons Corridor business, according to the Dallas Morning News. White was booked into the Dallas County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Teen Couple Dead; Possible Murder-Suicide
Mineral Wells police are investigating the deaths of two teenagers. The bodies of a 16- and 17-year-old were found dead Tuesday morning in the 300 block of N.W. 5th Street, according to police. Police said they are investigating the incident as a possible murder-suicide. Both bodies have been sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner so that the official cause of death can be determined.
