Police Blotter: Car Slams Into Parked Bus

Car Slams Into Parked T Bus
A Fort Worth T bus suffered minimal damage after being rear-ended by a car Friday morning. At about 8:30 a.m., MedStar crews were on the scene of a crash involving the bus parked at the Meadowbrook Drive and Edgewood Terrace bus stop in east Fort Worth. MedStar said that assessments indicated that few, if any, passengers would need to be transported to the hospital.

Dallas Man Killed During Home Invasion
A Dallas man was killed when several men tried to break into his home Friday morning, police said. Carlos McGraw, 23, and his friend, 22-year-old Daimon Howard, were at a house in the 9300 block of Whitehall Lane at about 1 a.m. when a number of men arrived in a silver two-door Honda and tried to break in through the rear door, Howard told police. When the men could not enter, they fired into the residence hitting both Howard and McGraw. McGraw died at the scene and Howard was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Police said the actual motive is unknown at this time.

Police Searching for Bank Robber
Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Rockwall on Thursday. Police said at about 11 a.m. on June 14, a man entered Community Bank in the 200 block of East Kaufman Street and slid a note to the teller demanding money. Police said no weapons were displayed and no one was injured. The man fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Anyone with information concerning the incident can contact Det.
