Plano International Festival Welcomes 20,000 for 12th Year

Collin County's largest city celebrated its diversity Saturday with the Plano International Festival. 

More than 100 cultures were showcased through performances, exhibits and food at Haggard Park. Additionally, 70 people became U.S. citizens during a ceremony at the park. 

"Money" magazine said Plano is third best place to live in the country and points out that 40 percent of the residents are non-white and that 80 different languages are spoken. 

The festival, now in its 12th year, attractes more than 20,000 people every year.
