Plane Slides Off Runway After Crash in Cleburne

Pilot, instructor suffer back pain after crash

A student-pilot and instructor are recovering after the small plane they were in crashed in Johnson County Wednesday.

Investigators said the plane, an Italian-made twin-engine Tecnam P2006T, was landing in Cleburne Wednesday evening when it stalled over the runway.

The aircraft came in hard and skidded off of the the runway.

Both the pilot and instructor complained of back pain and were hospitalized.  They are expected to be OK.

The crash will be investigated by the FAA.
